Our Approach

Same Problem,
Different Rooms.

A restaurant table, a parking spot, a tee time, a boat slip, a ticket. Different industries, different vocabularies, completely different trade associations — and underneath it, the exact same math problem.

What actually makes these the same business

Strip away the industry and every one of these businesses shares three things: capacity that's fixed in the short run, inventory that expires the moment it goes unsold, and demand that spikes on a clock the operator doesn't fully control. A table not sold at 7:05 doesn't roll over to tomorrow. Neither does an empty parking spot on game day, an unsold tee time, or a boat slip nobody rented last Tuesday. The clock resets to zero and starts over, whether or not anyone was paying attention.

Where the leaks hide, room by room

We've now run this same diagnostic across five very different rooms, and the leaks rhyme every time, even when the specific numbers don't:

Different industries. Same underlying spreadsheet.

Why this matters more than it sounds like it should

Most of the AI vendors and consultants pitching these businesses right now have never run one. They're selling a chatbot or a generic strategy framework built for nobody in particular, and it shows — the fixes rarely account for what actually decides whether a capacity business makes money: the clock. We think the businesses that get this right the fastest are being run by people who've actually stood behind the register, the front desk, or the pro shop counter and watched the clock run out on a table, a spot, or a slot in real time.

That's also why we built one methodology instead of five separate ones — the questions change by industry, but the underlying math doesn't, and neither does the fix.
